We're not certain if its popular demand or intentional strategic under-supplying, but there is no exaggeration in stating that every day of Celebration Orlando 2017 the Funko booth crew were left with nothing to do well before the doors closed every evening of the event.

To commemorate the 40th Anniversary of our favorite franchise, Comic Images has released a new series of plush dolls based on the characters of the original feature film, A New Hope. In addition, they were showing off their new Darth Vader inspired briefcase.

You don't need all this stuff, and chances are it all doesn't fit into your focus collection unless you're our good friends Steve Sansweet or Duncan Jenkins, but there is little doubt that there were at least a couple must-have items available at ThinkGeek's Celebration Orlando 2017 booth, and that's what makes them a company to watch in our eyes.

Sideshow Collectibles made it to the Orange County Convention Center for the first time to be a part of Celebration Orlando 2017 giving collectors their first in-person look at their upcoming The Empire Strikes Back Snowtrooper Commander, Rogue One TIE Pilot, and C2-B5 Imperial Astromech Sixth Scale figures and the Return Of The Jedi Boba Fett, The Force Awakens Rey & BB-8, and Rogue One Jyn Erso and Imperial Death Trooper Premium Format Figures. In addition, they filled their displays with other upcoming products previously shown at the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con.

This past weekend, runners from all over the world invaded the Walt Disney World Resort for the Health & Fitness Expo and three different Star Wars races. As always, was there to cover all the action.

Celebration Orlando artist Brian DeGuire let us know that he has posted his leftover prints for sale on his etsy store. Now is a great time to get one of his Cantina or Jabba's palace prints before they're gone for good!

Details of the May The 4th Be With You deals that are being offered on selected LEGO Star Wars sets are starting to emerge. The first set for April 29th has been revealed on the Shop@Home website as the 75149 Resistance X-Wing, and according to the follow-up set deals are: 5523 Scarif Stormtrooper (March 30th), 75153 AT-ST Walker (May 1st), 75164 Rebel Trooper Battle Pack (May 2nd), 75173 Luke’s Landspeeder (May 3rd), 75105 Millennium Falcon (May 4th - is this a clue?), 75120 K-2SO Buildable Figure (May 5th) and 75171 Battle on Scarif (May 6th). So far the deals are showing up on all regions apart from the USA and Canada.

The events calendar for LEGO Brand Stores in The Netherlands has been revealed, posts From from March 29th to May 6th the offers are the launch of the 75144 UCS Snowspeeder (with early access for VIP members), 10% off LEGO Star Wars products (excluding 75144 UCS Snowspeeder), 40% discount on selected LEGO Star Wars sets and a free 30611 R2-D2 polybag with a minimum LEGO Star Wars purchase of €65. Additionally, between March 29th and May 4th there is a special droid make & take building event and from May 7th to the 31st shoppers will get a free 40268 R3-M2 purchasing a LEGO Star Wars polybag set.

Details are no longer scant, with an update to the park's Events page that includes the announcements that there will be a mega Jabba the Hutt build activity between May 25th and 28th, and a full blown LEGO Star Wars Days weekend from June 15th to 18th. It has come to light, via that LEGO Brand Stores in Germany will be running a promotion following the May 4th event to get one of these modular darlings. All customers (one per household) have to do is make a LEGO Star Wars purchase (minimum value not know) between May 7th and 31st to receive a free polybag.
